Light Emitting Diode (LED's)
Today LED lights are fast replacing most of the light bulbs. LED is a semiconductor diode which emits lights with the help of electric current.
Light-emitting diodes are an eco-friendly lighting choice. They are an energy-efficient alternative to traditional incandescent light bulbs, which waste 90 percent of the energy consumed by generating heat.
LED’s low energy-usage means low operating costs that ultimately reflect in low utility bills. In addition, LED bulbs have longer life. This also amounts to much lower turnover of bulbs in households as well as in the society and public garbage.
